Our family had a delightful stay at the Shipwreck Loft for a weekend getaway. the room was spacious and clean, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the unique spot where the River Stour and River Orwell meet. We enjoyed watching the container ships at the Port of Felixstowe and the daily ferries to Holland from the comfort of our balcony. One highlight of our stay was joining the Shotley Point Yacht Club at Shotley Marina. Our kids had a blast interacting with like-minded people and learning about sailing the East Coast and beyond. the friendly club atmosphere made us feel right at home. The hotel's family-friendly amenities and activities, such as the evening meal in the restaurant and the daily afternoon tea, ensured that our stay was both enjoyable and relaxing. Overall, the Shipwreck Loft provided the perfect setting for a memorable family weekend by the sea.
